Thanks to the recent work of Nader Soliman, MD, I am now practicing his allergy desensitization procedure, Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT). Dr. Soliman has many years of clinical trials that demonstrate this method puts allergies, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Alpha-gal and autoimmune symptoms into remission. Please see the MCAS & Histamine Tab for more information.
Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment or SAAT is an auricular (ear) acupuncture technique used to significantly reduce the body's negative reaction to an allergen (ANY food, chemical or environmental sensitivity), histamine dysfunction (MCAS), Alpha-gal and auto-antibodies found in autoimmune disorders. A fine, hair thin needle is inserted in the ear and left for a specified period to achieve remission of symptoms.
1 SAAT treatment for an individual allergy generally provides a permanent reduction in symptoms.
Some cases for those with chronic illnesses and multiple sensitivities may require Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) treatment through additional follow-up visits for MCAS symptom remission and/ or treatment for an autoimmune disease.
4 SAAT treatments along with 2 remedy sprays for 2 months are required for MCAS/histamine sensitivity treatment to ensure an average of 85% permanent resolution of symptoms.
2 SAAT treatments along with 1 remedy spray for 2 months are required for Alpha-gal patients. However, many Alpha-gal patients also have MCAS/histamine sensitivity. These patients are encouraged to treat both MCAS/histamine sensitivity and Alpha-gal for permanent reduction of symptoms.
While other doctors mainly focus on allergies by suppressing the immune response, SAAT reprograms your body's immune system to stop over-reacting to an allergen.
Most people with many levels of reactions benefit tremendously from this technique. I follow the recommendations of Dr. Soliman for those with severe reactions including anaphylaxis. They may be treated with SAAT but are strongly advised to continue strict allergen avoidance. The goal is to minimize symptoms of accidental exposure.
